2017 Blessed - Peace, Prosperity and Multiplication
1. THE BLESSING BRINGS PEACE, PROSPERITY AND MULTIPLICATION
Gen 12:2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
Gen 48:3-5 God blessed me, 4 and said to me, 'Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people.
Prov 10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
Job 8:7 a poor thing thy old prosperity will seem, matched with the abundance He gives thee now (knox.)
Duet 2:7 For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand … the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
Duet 7:13 and He will love you and bless you and multiply you.
Gal 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus
2. FAITH AND CONFIDENCE BRINGS THE BLESSING- WE FIRE FEAR AND TORMENT
Prov 28:25 He who trusts in the Lord will prosper.
Rom 4:20-22 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Jer 17:7-8 “blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green (all year). It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
● Fear brings unbelief, the curse, and develops faith in Satan.
Is 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Heb 13:6 So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not FEAR. What can man do to me?"
Ps 112:1-7 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His word. 2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. 7 (TLB) He is not afraid of bad news. His heart remains secure, full of confidence in the Lord. 8 His heart is steady, and he is not afraid.
3. LOVE WILL BE KING ALL OF 2017- LOVE GOD, YOUR NEIGHBOR AND YOURSELF.
1 Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
James 5:16 faith which works (makes tremendous power available) by love.
● Love God – Be faithful to give God your heart this year.
● Love Others - Make a commitment to live strife free in 2017.
● Love Yourself - Allow God’s mercy to give you a fresh start.1 Cor 13:8 Love (God) never fails.
